Permaculture

We are a no-till farm with a rich layer of forest soil over our farms sandy base layer. We incorporate animal bedding and natural mulches and compost to create abundant water banking garden soil.

Our plantings are arranged in companion guilds that create a beneficial cycle of regeneration. Caring and protecting for each other these groups called guilds provide a micro environment that replicates how all the  plants in the forest work together to create a working ecosystem.
